There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, and right next door we found a takeaway sushi place and a self-service bakery open 24/7 with pastries, local treats, and drinks. The train station is about a 10-minute walk away. Our suite was spacious, clean, and nicely decorated, with a sauna, jacuzzi, and other luxury amenities. There are no windows to look outside, since it’s next to the road. We’d been told there might be construction noise at night, but we hardly heard anything. Room service was great, the staff were very polite, and they even lent us umbrellas when it rained.

The room was badly cleaned, poorly equipped, and had a creepy feel. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, and the guy downstairs was pretty rude. Don’t spend your money here.

The reception team were so helpful, friendly, and accommodating. They really went out of their way to make the stay enjoyable. The room had everything we needed, and the little touches felt well thought out. I especially liked the sauna and bath tap, which made things feel relaxing and a bit luxurious. I had an exceptional stay and would definitely come back. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect stay in Tokyo.

The place was spotlessly clean, and the people were very nice. My room had a sauna, but no wardrobe, so we had to keep everything in our suitcases. It was a small room with a strange layout, though the building itself felt modern and well made. Breakfast wasn’t up to scratch. There was even karaoke and mood lighting in our room. It’s totally different from a typical Western hotel.

Hotel Minato’s kindness and service were the best I’ve experienced. I usually stay at some of Tokyo’s top 5-star hotels, but this was honestly one of my best stays in the city. The rooms with private saunas are incredible, and they get blazing hot! It may not have all the amenities of a larger 5-star hotel, but the service and kindness are paramount.
