Hotel Moana Otsuka (Adult Only)

I’ve been coming here since it was called Cinema Inn CAST, and I’ve ended up using it a lot. Sometimes I want to have some time alone or relax, and sometimes work runs late. It’s definitely old, and occasionally there are things left behind by previous guests or other small issues, but nothing that bothers me much, so it feels within acceptable limits. The cleaning is done well. With business hotels becoming less accessible to the general public, I’ll keep using this place.

I stayed here on January 5th, 2025, from 12:00 to 14:30, and the woman at the front desk was extremely unhelpful. Her spiteful tone and attitude ruined the start of my new year. Even though the waiting room was empty, she wouldn’t let me sit there, so I had to wait outside in the middle of winter. I’ve been using hotels in Otsuka for over ten years, and I’ve never had anything like this happen before.

The front desk was very nice, and the panels looked luxurious. I was surprised by the reasonable price, but I picked the cheapest room and found it a little disappointing. It was small and ordinary. Next time I’d like to try one of the slightly more expensive rooms. Water and cider are complimentary, and of course there was coffee too.

The rooms are huge, with a large bathtub and a microwave. It’s close to the train station, with lots of restaurants and a super-convenience store nearby. Highly recommend! 😊👍🏻
