Hotel Rin Tokyo

The garden was my favorite part. We had the whole house to ourselves, so each morning we could sit on the wooden deck with a cup of tea in complete privacy. The house is spacious and comfortable, with lovely details from its thoughtful renovation. The beds were comfy, and the modern kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed. Hotel Rin Tokyo has a lovely feel, mixing traditional charm with a modern style. It’s in a quiet neighborhood close to the train station, which made getting around the city easy and gave us a glimpse of everyday Tokyo life. Our concierge made us feel welcome, and the delicious breakfast is well worth trying. We were a couple, but there’s enough room for a family or a group of friends. I can see it working well for a girls’ getaway too.

We came as two families with infants, and being able to have breakfast in our pajamas on the wooden deck was lovely. The deck was low-key and comfortable for the kids to run around barefoot, blow bubbles, and play with ice. There’s a temple and shrine next door, which may be why the grounds felt so peaceful despite being in the middle of the city. We live in Tokyo, so we don’t usually stay somewhere in the city, but this felt like a better setting than home and let us travel lighter than we would for a longer trip. It gave us a new idea for enjoying time together as a family with small children.

We had food delivered from a nearby restaurant, and it was delicious. The place itself felt stylish and relaxed, and being close to the station made our stay really comfortable. I was there with a friend, and we asked for a few options for a wedding gift. You listened carefully to what we wanted and helped make it a lovely memory. Thanks so much for all your help. The three private rooms meant both families could have our own space and unwind. We were four adults and two kids, staying at the invitation of a friend’s family. Since we’re renovating an old house ourselves, seeing this place was interesting and useful. The kitchen was roomy and had plenty of dishes, so cooking was easy. There’s a Lawson just across the street, about a 15-step walk, which made picking up drinks and snacks very convenient. The wooden deck had a nice amount of shade, and the kids had a great time playing there. That made things much easier for us parents.
