Hotel Sting - Adults Only

The location in Asakusa was peaceful, and although it's cheaper and quieter, you can still reach anywhere in the city in about 40 minutes. We stayed five nights and liked the spacious room, large beds, and the microwave, kettle, hair dryer, and refrigerator. The shower and bathroom were enormous, almost house-sized. My friend had a stressful arrival, and the front desk woman offered to help when everything was closed. That was great service. Room cleaning isn't automatic, but you can ask and they'll come clean it. WiFi in the room wasn't very good, possibly because of the soundproofing in the walls. There was also a strange moment when water dripped from the ceiling. Still, I had a great stay at the hotel sting and would recommend it to friends.

The rooms are surprisingly large for the price, about three times the size of rooms at Apa or Live hotels. They're dated, maybe from the 70s or 80s, but were cleaned well. It's a handy base for tourists wanting to visit one of Tokyos most important temples.

We spent two nights here, and the receptionist was really rude. On our last day she called to tell us to leave at 11:00am, though checkout was at 12:00pm. Then at 10:45am she called again and said, "Time out." We rushed to get out. It was the worst experience we've ever had. If you want a good time in Tokyo, avoid this place.

The room was spacious, pleasant, and clean, and the price felt fair. Everyone was kind. Very good.
