The rooms are tiny, and the thin walls plus nearby railroad can make things noisy sometimes. It wasn't a big inconvenience for me, especially considering the price and location. Getting here from Haneda is easy, and both metro and JR stations are within walking distance. There are lots of convenience stores, cafes, and restaurants nearby. Check-in and checkout are quick and simple, the rooms are always clean, and the lobby has complimentary amenities, pajamas, hot drinks, and breakfast pastries. Definitely recommend.
The beds were firm and super comfortable for me, the room was spotless, and the heated toilet seat was a nice touch. Rooms are very compact, and it took me a while to adjust to how much is self-service, with tea facilities in the lobby instead of the room. The location is great, as others have said, and the pier view is lovely. The lobby's large touchscreen has information on tourist spots, and it's handy that there's also a machine there for exchanging foreign cash. I had a good stay.
The bed was pushed up against the walls on three sides, though you can put luggage underneath it. The sea view is nice, but because the window sits behind the bed, you have to make an effort to look out. We only did that twice, once at night and once in the morning. The reception's common area and the luggage storage were good. Coffee is available all day, and there were some buns in limited quantities in the morning. I stayed for two nights in late April. The room was small, but for the location, the price felt fair.
It's a basic studio-style place with small rooms, but they're clean. For the price, I think it's good value, and not bad at all, even from my perspective as a Japanese person. There's a convenience store on the first floor, and the station is close. Free drinks and complimentary bread at breakfast made it a satisfying stay. Ratings from Japanese people with little experience overseas tend to be low, but I don't think those ratings are reliable.
The main drawback is how tiny the room is, the smallest hotel room we've ever had, with only about four inches between the bed and each wall. Luggage fits under the bed unless your bag is huge, in which case you probably need the storage room. You also can't cast Netflix or anything like that to the TV. For a place aimed at younger people, TVs that support it would make sense. Still, I'd stay again, as long as you expect a really, really small room. The location is convenient, with lots of transport options nearby and easy access from Haneda at the end of the monorail line. Staff speak enough English to communicate. The bed is very firm but comfortable, though our original pillows were too firm. They have softer ones if you ask. It's clean, the bathroom is good, and the shower is nice. Free coffee and danishes are available in the morning, and the laundry machines cost 400 yen with dryers at 100 yen.
