Karaksa Hotel Premier Tokyo Ginza

The rooms were spacious and spotless, and the complimentary snacks, coffee, and bar area made the stay even nicer. We loved the hotel, which is right in the heart of Ginza, a block from both the metro station and Shinkansen stop. The area has plenty going on during the day but is peaceful at night, and we had everything we needed close by. By the end of the trip, we were so glad we’d picked it. Fantastic value, don’t hesitate to book.

I picked this hotel for its location, but the service and quality turned out even better than I expected. The staff were all very kind and quick to respond when I asked for something. The morning delivery came exactly when requested, and the food tasted great. The amenities were high quality, from the Dyson hair dryer and soft towels to the comfortable pajamas, which were changed daily. Best of all, the duvet was so cozy that I slept really well. Thanks to everyone at Karaksa Hotel. I’d stay at Karaksa again without hesitation on another trip to Tokyo.

What stayed with us most was the warm service. Intan at reception made everything smoother, and because she’s also from Indonesia, we felt a little bit of home in Tokyo. We’d definitely return on our next trip. Karaksa Hotel Ginza Premier is right beside Don Quijote, a short walk from the famous Ginza shopping street, and just around the corner from a Family Mart. We liked being able to get to the rooms without changing elevators. The mini lounge had unlimited drinks and snacks, plus an alcohol counter where guests could have up to two glasses using their access card. The rooms were surprisingly spacious for Tokyo, and the twin beds were generous and comfortable.

The location in the heart of Ginza is hard to beat, and the staff were professional and helpful. We stayed in a spacious corner Executive Twin Room on the 10th floor, the hotel’s top category, with a magnificent view and an excellent bathroom featuring a rain shower and deep soaking tub. Other room types are considerably smaller and can feel cramped for the price, so our room was probably an exception. The overall value is hard to justify for what feels more like an upscale lodging house than a full-service luxury hotel. There’s no fitness center or on-site restaurant, and the management’s rules felt rigid. Late checkout after 11:00 AM is charged by the hour right away, which feels like nickel-and-diming, even in an expensive city like Tokyo. Breakfast was the biggest letdown. At this price, a very meager breakfast box delivered to the door felt almost laughable and left us short-changed. If the hotel calls itself “premier,” breakfast should live up to that. The price-performance ratio is beyond good and evil. It could suit someone who books a top-tier room and mainly wants a great view in a prime location, but with the limited facilities and poor food, a nearby traditional full-service hotel may offer better value.
