Toyoko Inn Tokyo Asakusa Kuramae No.2

The free breakfast and room were great for the price, and the hotel is just steps from kuramae station on the asakusa line. My girlfriend and I are both American and don’t speak Japanese at all. During our first three nights in Japan, staff were incredibly friendly. The front desk patiently helped us sort out luggage forwarding, even while we were asking what were probably silly questions. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

It’s a peaceful place to stay, which suited me in my last few days in Japan when I wanted to sleep and unwind without much noise. Sensoji and the shopping areas are a 17-20 minute walk away, and there are 7-11s, restaurants, and coffee shops nearby. The room is cozy, and the housekeeping and breakfast staff are very nice. They accepted my luggage from airporter and held it for a few hours after checkout. Kuramae station is close and connects directly to Haneda and Narita. There’s an entrance with lifts for anyone carrying heavy bags.

The room and toilets were clean and in very good shape. Emergency supplies in the room helped me feel safer, since this was my first visit to a country with earthquakes. The staff were friendly and professional too.

Very clean, with eateries nearby and convenient transit. There’s a direct bus to Tokyo Station Yaesu South Exit, plus the Asakusa and Oedo Line stations close by. Ueno is only two stops away. Breakfast was fine.
