Mitake Sanso

Good.

Ikoi Sanso has a calm, homey feel, with a touch of nostalgia rather than anything flashy. It seems just right if you want to get away from the everyday rush and slow down. The place was clean throughout, and the staff were thoughtful and pleasant. The food was homestyle but properly tasty, especially the warm dishes, which felt comforting. The bath was a comfortable size and a quiet place to relax. I found it so soothing that I wanted to go in again and again during my stay. It felt like somewhere you can settle in with peace of mind, and I'd like to visit again.

The staff were so kind, thank you very much. From the room, the view was lovely, and both the night scenery and sunrise were beautiful. The food, room, and bath all helped soothe my tired body, and the food especially was generous and felt luxurious. I'd like to stay again if I get the chance.

I came for a restful night and a visit to Musashi Mitake Shrine, not for mountain climbing. Seeing the sunrise from my room left me with such a warm feeling. The landlady was wonderfully welcoming, and the dinner and breakfast were delicious. I think it'd also be a lovely place to unwind after a climb. It was a great holiday, thank you.
