Mokkoan

I stayed at Mokkoan for three days, and before I left I was given a lovely little gift. One of my favorite parts of each morning was spending time with the adorable dog K-chan. Ito san, Chieko san, and Yuki san were such warm hosts. They made delicious breakfast every morning, and I loved chatting with them over the meal. The homemade orange marmalade, made with oranges from the garden, was delicious too. Choosing this peaceful traditional Japanese house was one of the best decisions of my trip. It’s hard to believe you can reach one of the world’s busiest places in just 20 minutes from here. I already know I’ll come back someday!!!

We spent four nights at Mokkoan, in a wonderful atmosphere, and choosing it was one of the best decisions of our trip. The house is lovely and traditional, the room had everything we could ask for, and the neighborhood was calm while still being close to the station. Mr. Yasuhiko and Mrs. Chieko were kind and helpful, with lots of recommendations, and the staff were friendly too. We’ll definitely return on our next trip to Tokyo.

The hosts made me feel welcome as soon as I arrived. They even drove me from the accommodation to Akabane Station, which was incredibly thoughtful, and shared recommendations that made my time in Tokyo better. My three nights at Mokkoan were spotless and comfortable. The facilities were very clean, and fresh towels and bed sheets were provided every day. Breakfast was delicious and lovingly prepared. I also received a small souvenir from the hosts, a simple gesture that meant a lot. The kindness, cleanliness, and care made the whole stay wonderful. I loved everything about this place and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone staying in Tokyo.

The garden, the breakfast, and K-Chan all made this place even more special. It’s run by a wonderful couple, and I’d stay here whenever we’re in Tokyo if we can.
