We enjoyed our stays here twice and plan to return soon. The apartment was very clean and secure, with friendly English-speaking staff available around the clock. Reception staff were extremely helpful, and the cleaning staff were great too. It's away from Tokyo's most crowded parts but easy to reach much of the city by taxi or train. Being able to walk to nearby attractions is a big plus, and everything we needed was within a 5-15 minute walk.

The room felt very spacious for three people, and a top bunk was set up above a seating area that could turn into another bed, so it can accommodate up to four. The kitchenette was impressively stocked: hot plate and stove, portable oven, microwave, roomy fridge and freezer, mugs, cups, plates, bowls, cutlery, pots and pans, and even a rice cooker. There was also a washer and dryer, with laundry liquid provided; reception can give you more if you run out. Housekeeping comes every two or three days. Staff were friendly, helpful, spoke English well, and were accommodating throughout our stay. For getting around, Ueno station is about 1 km away, or roughly a 10-minute walk, and the Iriya exit is best. There's a 7-Eleven right next door, with My Basket Kitaueno and Maruetsu Higashiueno supermarkets nearby. The hotel uses one access code for the lift and another for your room instead of a key, so don't forget them. I'd recommend it for families or longer Tokyo visits.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location made it easy to reach the station. Eating out nearby could take some planning, since restaurants can require a reservation or a wait. I stayed 11 days at a good rate. I'm not sure I'd pay the full price, but at around $100-150 a night, it felt like great value. The room was spacious compared with other places you might find, and had everything I needed to manage on my own. I slept really well during winter. I couldn't hear other rooms, though people talking loudly in the hallway came through occasionally.

The room was spacious, clean, and well stocked, and the staff were very polite and courteous. We used the washing machine, which came with one packet of laundry liquid. Ueno station was about a 20-minute walk, which worked for us, and Akihabara was also walkable. I'd recommend it.
