The kitchen worked, and I liked having a small room as well as a capsule. But I was disappointed after looking forward to the stay. The front door lock sometimes went haywire, and unplugging its batteries was the only way to stop it, so it didn’t feel reliable. You can lock your capsule only while you’re inside; when you leave, there’s nowhere to secure your belongings. The little second-floor safe wouldn’t even fit a notebook. Worst of all, I was on the first floor and could hear vibrations and a very loud low-frequency sound from the ventilation above me when another guest was staying on the second floor. At first I thought a UFO was landing beside the hotel. I had to sleep through it, and my head still hurt afterward.
