Jr Kyushu Hotel Blossom Shinjuku

The room was a little small, but thoughtfully laid out and comfortable for our stay. We were welcomed with genuine kindness as soon as we entered the lobby, and the staff were so helpful that we felt at ease right away. Everything we needed in Shinjuku was close by, including transport and shopping. We had a wonderful stay, and would happily return and recommend this hotel.

We had two beds, with not much space to move our bags around, but it was manageable. The hotel’s in a great spot near the train station and lots of places to eat, and the water station on our floor was so convenient. The tea bags in the lobby were a nice touch, too. I’d stay here again even though it was a little pricey for two nights. When we arrived, there was a lovely scent in the lobby and check-in was quick and simple. I thought KLOOK had covered everything, but I still had taxes and resort fees to pay.

For our first five nights in Japan, this was the perfect hotel. It’s within walking distance of Shinjuku and downtown, but far enough from the street noise. The rooms were a great size for us Westerners with two carry-on suitcases. Staff had thought of everything, from phone chargers and laundry bags to quality toiletries and hot tea. There are charming restaurants and cafes nearby, and we loved going to Cafe Punkto every morning. A 7-Eleven is close for late-night snacks. We didn’t try the restaurant downstairs, but heard it was delicious and well priced. We’ll come back when we visit Tokyo again. Thank you so much!

The location is the clear highlight. The hotel is just steps from Shinjuku Station, with restaurants, shops, and convenience stores all around, plus easy access to the rest of Tokyo. For getting around, it’s hard to beat, and the price is generally good value for the area. The room was clean, check-in went smoothly, and it was quiet enough to rest despite the busy surroundings. It works as a simple base for a short trip, but I’d call it a three-star hotel, no more. Services are limited and there’s no fitness center. The housekeeping felt odd: towels were replaced daily, but the bed wasn’t made, so the room seemed only partly serviced. For the limited amenities, the price still feels a bit expensive.
