Ostay Ikebukuro Hotel Apartment

The guesthouse has no service, and you’re expected to clean it yourself however long you stay. For this price, I’d pick a hotel that’s at least clean. The toilet smelled awful, and the shower room ventilation had a toilet-like odor too. The sheets and blankets were yellowed, and there was an unknown liquid on the sofa. The location was only okay, about a ten-minute walk from the subway, with Donki supermarkets and drugstores nearby.

The place was quiet, and the kids really liked staying here. It’s tiny but has everything you need. The room and kitchen were clean, and there’s a washing machine. The station is very close, which made getting around easy, with restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Customer service replied to messages quickly.

Ikebukuro Station is only a two-minute walk away, making it easy to reach different parts of Tokyo in under half an hour. Shinjuku is one stop away and Shibuya is two, and both are pricier and more crowded.

It was quiet in the alley, and the station was very close. The room was clean and reasonably spacious. The one drawback was having no elevator.
