The skyline views were unforgettable, and waking up and winding down with them felt worth the stay on its own. The location made getting around easy, with everything we wanted to see and do close by. Inside, the lobby and shared spaces were beautifully designed, calm, and welcoming, a nice place to relax after a long day out. The atmosphere felt upscale from the moment we arrived. The staff were warm, professional, and genuinely helpful, which made the stay feel special. I’d happily come back.

The rooms are small, but cozy and clean, with lovely views. We could even see Fujisan in the distance for a couple of days. The bathrooms had nice extras, including wonderful skincare, though tall people should know the bathtub is short. There are four washer-dryers, but they can get busy, so a nearby laundromat might be easier. We didn’t try the restaurants since there’s so much nearby, but the hotel has several options, including a breakfast buffet if you’re willing to spend a bit more. Park Hotel Tokyo is well placed, connected to Shiodome Station and about a 10-minute walk through the underground passage to Shinbashi Station. It was easy to get around from there, including to Narita. It’s in a business district, which gets quieter at night and on weekends. We found weekends a good time to try the local restaurants, and Ginza is an easy walk away. The hotel seems to draw mostly foreign tourists, and signs say the staff speak lots of languages. Everyone we talked with was professional. I appreciated that when staff realized I spoke a little Japanese, they spoke to me in Japanese, even though their English was much better than mine. It was very kind.

Park Hotel Tokyo felt like more than somewhere to sleep. The impressive building is full of paintings, sculptures, and interesting objects, and wandering its art galleries made it feel like a museum. It’s also within walking distance of popular areas, shops, restaurants, bars, and public transport. We walked through the lively Tokyo streets to the famous Tokyo Shibuya street crossing. Watching all the traffic stop at once so thousands of pedestrians could cross in every direction within a minute was quite something, the most organized chaos ever. I had an amazing time in Tokyo, and would highly recommend staying here if you’re going for a Tokyo Drift.

The whole hotel is beautiful, with every room, space, and corner feeling like a work of art. My room looked straight onto Tokyo Tower, and the view was stunning. The included breakfast was delicious, and the location was convenient. I loved my stay and will definitely come back to this hotel when I return to Tokyo.

The station connections are useful, but I needed about three days to find my way around the complex network of levels and stairways without getting lost. Park Hotel Tokyo connects directly underground to Shiodome Station on the Oedo Line, which goes to Tsukiji and Shinjuku. It’s also about a 10-minute underground walk to Shimbashi Station for the Ginza Line toward Ueno and Asakusa, the Asakusa Line, and the Yamanote Line. There’s a direct train to Narita too. We stayed four nights in April 2026. I’d first requested the goldfish room but got the Sakura room instead. The artist-designed rooms are unique and impressive, with more character than the bland, stale chain hotels like Marriott or Hyatt, and at a lower cost. For our honeymoon, the hotel had arranged two cute swans in the room, a really sweet touch. The room also had Wi-Fi, a TV with Netflix, toothbrush and toothpaste, drip coffee, a high-quality four-step facial wash, and a razor. The lobby is spacious and grand, with a high ceiling, unusual art pieces, bonsai displays, and a large seating area, plus a separate lounge with fantastic sunset and night views of Tokyo Tower. On the 26th floor there’s an ice machine and microwave. The 25th floor lobby has free coffee and tea, and a paid tasting option for wine, beer, and sake at ¥1000. There’s also a very cozy executive lounge, an open area behind the check-in desk. Staff were very friendly, often asked about our plans, and offered help. They felt natural to talk to, more like a friend than a scripted service interaction. A few downsides: if you’re visiting Disneysea with family, getting there takes three trains and feels tiring. Breakfast wasn’t included at this price, there’s no gym or pool, and food choices close by are limited to Thai or Indian food and a FamilyMart at B2. For more variety, walk 5-10 minutes to the Shimbashi area.
