The lobby had rows of manga shelves, with a broad selection from shonen and seinen to shojo. It was a nice way to pass the time or relax. Another welcome extra was the free self-serve curry rice, udon, and soft drinks. The curry had a comforting, homemade taste, and I ate until I was full. It helped save on dinner, and there were hot coffee and tea as well. I stayed on a weekday in December 2025, after booking near Keikyu Kamata Station so I could get to Haneda Airport early the next morning. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the station, with a convenience store nearby. There were people around at night, which made the location feel reassuring. Check-in was quick and the front desk staff were kind and efficient. My twin room had a simple, calming color scheme. The bath and toilet shared one room, as I suppose is standard for a business hotel. The downtown night view wasn't especially impressive, but the city felt calm.

The room and hotel were clean, and the staff were kind. They offered complimentary drinks and udon to have on the premises, plus a large collection of books and comics. It was a nice stay overall. We were at Quintessa during our Japan trip in Nov 2025. The hotel has a cozy feel and is within walking distance of Keikyo Kamata station, though it's a little far from the main city center. Our room got somewhat noisy in the early hours because the hotel is very close to the main road. That road was also useful for getting around.

There's no restaurant, but the lobby has free noodles and soft drinks available 24 hours a day. A 7-11 right next door is handy for picking up a meal. The hotel is in a convenient spot for getting to the airport. There's a large manga collection you can browse. Most of it is in Japanese, though there's also a small but decent selection of English books. It's a very nice hotel.

It's a no-fuss place that's extremely convenient for Haneda. The 24-hour curry rice is a nice extra for tired travelers, and the manga cafe is pretty cool too.

The neighborhood felt pleasantly local, and the bed was comfortable. I only stayed one night in Oct. 2025, but I enjoyed it. The manga shelves in the lobby were a nice touch. I'd happily come back.
