The room was really clean and big enough for a few comfortable nights, though I needed the first night to settle in with the shared toilet and shower. The online pictures were accurate, and what I booked was what I got. The location is close to Ueno, Keisei Ueno, and Iriya stations. It’s also near central Akihabara, Sensi-jo temple, and Ueno Park with its zoo. There’s a 24-hour shop for snacks and drinks around the corner, too. The directions they sent for finding the place were detailed and very useful. I found more provided than I expected, with the basics like toothpaste, toothbrushes, and shower gel all available. I’d recommend it to backpackers or anyone looking for a decent, inexpensive place for a few nights.

The main headache was finding the place from the underground station. It was hard to get there from the street. The rooms are small, but the rules were clearly laid out and need to be followed. The Korean boy was extremely nice and welcoming, and the other people staying in the small property were nice as well. Everything else was as described.
