The staff made a great impression, especially the lovely reception team. Their professionalism stopped me making a schoolboy error with my suitcase transfer. The hotel is modern, very clean, and handy for transport, with plenty of places to eat and shop nearby. The room was an adequate size, though not large, and the sound insulation was good. The small bathroom had a decent shower, and the bed was comfortable, though pushed against the wall, so you have to climb over your partner to get in. Paid washing machines were useful. Breakfast was adequate. A very good hotel, with excellent staff.

The rooms have been renovated beautifully, and the staff were so warm and helpful. They went out of their way to sort out my SIM card problem, using translation devices so we could communicate clearly. After hearing some mixed reviews about Tokyo post-COVID, it was refreshing to feel so welcome. You could tell the staff served everyone from the heart. I’d absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting! ❤️

The location made getting around easy, with the train station and airport limousine bus stop both close by, and the neighborhood felt great for families. My wife, child, and I stayed from Jan 12-16, 2026, and had a really happy family trip. The room was spotless, and we could replenish the amenities ourselves. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were warm and welcoming. Richmond Hotel Asakusa is at the top of our list for our next trip to Japan. Highly recommended! Just a three minute walk to Asakusa Temple, with Japanese street food and a Don Quijote store nearby. The room was clean and spacious, and they also had a washing machine.

We had a nice view of the Skytree tower and Temple. For a first-time visitor to Asakusa, the location is just right, close to Senjo-ji Temple, the subway, shops, and lots of resto bars.
