Sequence Suidobashi Tokyo Hotel

The new room was clean and spacious, and the location is great for Tokyo Dome events. There are several convenience stores nearby, and JR Suidobashi's west exit is right in front. A word of caution about the photogenic, Instagram-friendly breakfast, though: all that glitters is not gold.

The room was comfortable, the price was great, and the hotel is a pretty cool place to stay, right beside a metro line. But the breakfast was the real highlight: for Y1500, it included juice and coffee, and I had lovely light French toast with fruit and a side of yoghurt. Who needs fluffy pancakes? We're coming back for a night in a week's time on our way home.

I couldn't hear the trains at all during my stay, so the soundproofing was great. The hotel is right beside the station, and it was handy having laundry machines on two floors. Thanks to the service team! Mogliest Regards, Your Mog Champ

The staff were polite and greeted me whenever I came in. The hotel is modern and clean, and although it's beside the station, the train noise was muffled enough that it didn't bother me. Two laundry rooms take IC cards, so there's no need for coins. There's a 7-11 a block away, a Fam Mart about two blocks away, and a small convenience store in Suidobashi station too. I stayed here for an event at Tokyo Dome and would come back even without a concert. The hotel is about 20 steps from Suidobashi station, which I really liked: it's less complicated and less crowded than major stations, with direct access to Shinjuku and Akihabara, about two or three stops from Akihabara, I think. You can also get a direct train to Kichijoji or the Ghibli museum in Mitaka, and Haneda airport is fairly easy to reach. I had worried about mailing my event ticket to the hotel, but they were responsive from our first communication, which reassured me it wouldn't get lost.
