Sotetsu Fresa Inn Hamamatsucho Daimon

The breakfast buffet was simple, but the food was good and made for an easy, welcome start to the day. The staff were always happy to help with anything, and the location was exactly what I wanted: close to a few subway lines, in an area that isn't full of tourists. I had a great stay here.

I was in Tokyo for business and needed somewhere nearby, and this place worked well. The price was reasonable, the place was as clean as you'd expect in Japan, and the friendly staff made check-in and checkout smooth. The room didn't have a safety box, which was unusual, but I'd still recommend it.

The breakfast was delicious, with lots of options, and the room was clean. The counter staff were attentive and helpful. The heater, which is the air conditioner, made a bit of noise, but it was acceptable. I had a comfortable stay.

The changing breakfast buffet was amazing, and the bathtub was great for relaxing after a day of walking 20 K steps. The room was small, but we mostly used it to sleep, so that wasn't much of an issue. The beds were small too, and my husband and I are very fat, but we managed to sleep in the same bed facing opposite directions. We had a really nice stay and I'd recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a good place in central Tokyo. We stayed over the weekend, when Tokyo prices are very high, but this hotel was still quite affordable for the price. It's very close to metro stations, making it easy to get around Tokyo.
