I loved the neighborhood. It's quiet and convenient, with several stations nearby, and the place felt spacious for Tokyo. The elevator was handy, the bathroom was comfortable, and the washer and dryer were indispensable. We had a balcony but hardly used it. Now and then we could hear a loudspeaker or children running in the room above, but it was comfortable overall. A hotel room would've been much smaller. There's no privacy screen between the toilet and the main room. The bidet has a music button that's meant to cover gastrointestinal sounds. One thing to watch: the door didn't always shut. Turn the handle and close it firmly rather than expecting it to click shut by itself. For coffee, try a latte at Glitch coffee shop with the whiskey/rum bean blend. It will change your life. There's plenty of food around Kansas station, and you can't really go wrong.

The neighborhood was a nice, safe break from the busy streets. The nearest station is about a 7 minute walk at most. The host answered all my questions quickly and gave clear instructions. It's fully self-service, so you're expected to clean up after yourselves. I'd recommend staying here.

The room was small but practical, and the washer-dryer was very useful after a few weeks on the road. The toilet door was glass, so you could easily be seen using it from the room.
