For a solo traveler trying to save money, staying out most of the day, and being comfortable with capsule hotels, this is good value. The location is convenient, close to Asakusa Station and within walking distance of Senso-ji Temple. Restaurants, shops, and convenience stores are all around, and getting to and from the airport is easy. The bathrooms, capsules, and shared spaces were cleaner and better maintained than I expected. The men's and women's floors are separate, which felt safe. Lockers, a lounge, and luggage storage are available, too. I had a good stay and would come back next time. Light sleepers or people who want a lot of privacy may find it less suitable.

The service was really unfriendly. In all my stays in Japan, I've never had service this poor. I was there from May 19-25, 2026. On the 24th, the day before my original checkout, I booked an extra day and told the receptionist. I had already paid to extend my stay through the 26th, but that morning they still told me to move everything from the 8th floor to the 6th floor. Nobody explained why. It wasn't my checkout day yet, and I was rushing out early for a tour. I hadn't had time to pack, and packing all my things and moving them took time. I packed up and moved anyway, feeling pretty upset. They said the room needed cleaning, even though my checkout time hadn't come. No one apologized or explained what was going on. The staff were very unfriendly. One receptionist was a young man with black hair and white highlights, which were pink highlights the next day. Another receptionist was rude and unfriendly, too. I hope management takes another look at how the employees treat guests. Thank you.

I booked 5 nights, but by my 2nd day I was already thinking about switching hotels. The whole stay felt dull, tense, and negative. Quiet is expected in a dorm, but some guests were slamming the shower and room doors, and handling their things noisily at the basin, like someone owed them money. One guest threw things onto the basin just because an item had fallen on the floor. There was hair and makeup powder all over the basin, and nobody cleaned up after themselves. A sanitary pad was tossed in the bin without being wrapped properly. Not a nice sight. One morning I opened my curtain and found someone's luggage right in front of my capsule in the shared area. Another guest left her large suitcase open all night until morning. The common space was treated like personal storage, which was really disruptive and inconsiderate. If you need room to spread out your luggage, don't stay in a dormitory. This isn't the place to come if you're hoping to make friends. There's no basic water dispenser, either. At check-in, I saw the receptionist give slippers to a pretty woman, but not to the men or the other girls. The person who checked me in wasn't polite, rushed through the explanation, and gave me a side-eye. It felt like they had no manners. That showed me the level of hospitality here. I won't book this place again. I was unlucky to spend my 5 nights around inconsiderate, irresponsible guests with no manners, like they owed me money.

I'm back for my third stay, mainly because the location works so well for me. The metro is close, as is my favorite bar in the Asakusa area. The capsules are comfortable, the atmosphere is calm, and the other guests have always been respectful, so I sleep well. There are also shared spaces where I like to sit, relax, or get some work done. The hard part is finding a female capsule, since they're often fully booked. You really have to plan ahead. It's still a dependable choice.

The location made it easy to get around Tokyo without staying in the busiest part of the center. They let me check in early since my room was ready, and the customer service was great. The bathrooms were clean, but my capsule wall had a lot of liquid stains, so it wasn't the cleanest. I was on floor 7, and some women were quite disrespectful of the shared space at night, talking, unpacking, packing, and zipping bags. That's not the hotel's fault, but they could make the noise and packing signs larger or repeat the rules. Still, it was a good stay.
