Starry Stay Suite Improve Nishimagome

The distance from Tokyo’s tourist spots was a tradeoff for us. It was quieter and less crowded, though getting around took planning. Ginza was about 20-25 minutes away by Uber. We stayed here for part of our honeymoon and loved it: a full kitchen, a tub and shower, comfortable beds, and a washing machine. I’d stay again.

The owner was easy to reach by email, and the place itself was roomy and cozy. We found this guesthouse with its small restaurant by chance on our first independent trip to Japan. It’s way out in a remote area, so the distance was the only drawback. Still, we loved it and would recommend it, 10/10.

I was worried the room might not look like the listing photos, but it matched them exactly and had everything I needed: a TV, microwave, gas stove, kettle, bathtub, and washing machine. Bird's Nest, a popular Taiwanese restaurant, is nearby too. I booked at the last minute on Trip.com, and the location worked out really well, close to the station, a supermarket, FamilyMart, and Lawson.
