I’m very disappointed that the hotel hasn’t refunded my 30,000 Yen deposit. It doesn’t feel like they’re acting in good faith.

There’s a little rooftop spot with a great view of Tokyo Skytree at night. The guesthouse is also very close to Tokyo Skytree, with subway lines, airport shuttles, and Disneyland bus terminals nearby. Large supermarkets, pharmacies, plenty of restaurants, and shopping are all within easy reach. The beds are doubles and there’s plenty of room. A small kitchenette includes a washer-dryer and laundry detergent. The TV has internet access, so you can log into YouTube or Netflix, and there are enough charging outlets. Check-in and checkout are easy with the automated system, which has Chinese instructions. The main drawback was the heating. Even on the highest temperature with the fan at full, it was still quite cold. The bathroom has no heating or drying facilities, so it felt chilly too. Otherwise, it was very good.

The room was spacious enough to move around easily with three pieces of luggage, and would suit a small family. It has a self-locking system, washing machine, refrigerator, and kitchenette. The Ouler instant noodles and hot pot were great! 😌 There’s a supermarket just a one-minute walk away, and the room looks out at Tokyo Skytree. This guesthouse is about an eight-minute walk from Oshiage Station. The price is very reasonable, so it’s good value for money for a guesthouse in Tokyo.

My family and I are very disappointed. It’s been more than a month since checkout, and we still haven’t received the 30,000 yen deposit back.
