For four days on my own, this hotel suited me perfectly. My room was tidy and clean, the WiFi worked without any trouble, and I liked the door lock system. It’s in a peaceful neighborhood with subway and bus access close by, plus several convenience stores. The staff were helpful overall and spoke English. I had a really good stay as a solo female traveler.

The thin walls were the main downside. For the first couple of days the room next to ours was empty, so I wouldn’t have known, but once someone was there we could hear everything. Otherwise, it’s a great place to stay, with spacious rooms and the things you need: a fridge, kettle, bathroom amenities, and coin laundry, though there’s no dryer. Convenience stores and reasonably priced places to eat are all around, and the nearby train station goes to Nippori, where you can change to other major metro lines. The host speaks English well.

There are shops and convenience stores nearby, and the station is only a short walk away. The location worked really well for us, and the room had plenty of space for our family of three.

The room felt smaller than we expected for two people, so I’d choose a larger one if you’re staying with more than one person and want extra room. The location is fantastic, and the service was wonderful.

A cozy, very accommodating place, with laundry, food and transport all easy to get to. It had what I needed.
