Shinjuku Garden House / Vacation STAY 81151

There were five adults in our family, and we stayed in the ground floor flat in Sep 2023. Having access to the rear garden was nice. The place was clean and comfortable, with a separate kitchen and dining area. There was enough room for all of us, and it worked much better than booking two hotel rooms. We could prepare and eat meals comfortably when we needed to. The location was excellent, very close to a subway station for quick trips to Shinjuku and Shibuya. There are supermarkets nearby, including the excellent Life supermarket. Their food is very good, especially the freshly prepared in-house sushi. I’d happily stay here again if I got the chance to revisit Tokyo.

We really didn’t want to leave. The apartment was private, spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a lovely seating area beside a sunny window looking out over the garden. There’s a small supermarket across the road, and the location is great. All the messages with the owner were easy and friendly. Highly recommend.

The host has thought through the details and equipped the rooms with everything you might need. They’re comfortable and convenient, with full amenities, and make for an immersive stay that feels almost like living locally. If you’re after a generic Western hotel room with room service and a concierge, this probably won’t suit you. For that more local experience, these rooms tick all the boxes.

It’s a quaint place, close to the train station, with restaurants and shops within walking distance. The host was very helpful, sharing information before our trip and answering our questions.
