The Prime Pod Ginza Tokyo

We only booked one night, but the pod bed was so comfortable and the place so spacious that I could easily have stayed a week or two. It felt secure, was well organized, and had a nice atmosphere around check-in. It’s conveniently close to the subway, with friendly staff. The shower area was clean and well maintained. They provide slippers, a toothbrush, toothpaste, and a towel. The price worked out to about 30 euros each, which seemed good.

For a budget stay of a night or two, this works well. It’s right by a metro stop, so getting around Tokyo is quick and easy. The view over the city is nice, and Ginza has plenty of brand-name shops, bars, and restaurants nearby. The facilities are tidy and organized, and the bedding was more comfortable than I expected. Staff are friendly and can speak a little English. There are private guest lockers too, just ask at reception.

The pod area was quiet and very clean, and the staff at Prime Pod were friendly. They provide a nightgown, slippers, toothbrush, and toothpaste when you arrive. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are in the shower. Everything I needed for a relaxed, stress-free stay was there. I’d recommend it.

The view is lovely, the place is clean, and the staff were kind and accommodating. They’ve made an effort to help women feel safe, and I liked that men and women have separate floors. I just wish there were better options for couples, even something like a bigger lounge, and that the pods had proper lockable doors for more privacy and less noise. Ask for a bottom pod if you stay here, since climbing to the top ones is hard. My pod fan was very loud, though I can’t say if that was a one-off issue, and without it the pod got too stuffy. The TV also doesn’t face the bed well. It was a nice stay, but I probably won’t choose a pod over a regular hotel next time.
