The rooms looked a little dated, but they were clean and did the job. Housekeeping left everything spotless, and the cleaners were kind when we made requests. Staff weren't very fluent in English, but they were helpful and used Google Translate whenever something wasn't clear. They responded quickly when we needed anything. We spent 9 nights at the Tobu and the location worked out really well. The station is close, with Akihabara about 15 minutes away and Shinjuku around 25. There are shops and good food nearby, and Skytree is a 15-20 minute walk. If you're after an affordable, clean place near the train and won't spend much time in your room, I'd recommend it.

The window view of Tokyo Skytree is lovely if you book a room facing it, and the staff made us feel welcome from the start. Rooms were clean, with daily cleaning. Breakfast had a modest selection, but it was tasty and there was enough to pick something different each morning over several days. I'd definitely recommend this hotel.

After a long day out, it was nice coming back to a clean, quiet hotel in a peaceful area. Tokyo Skytree is about a 20-minute walk away, and some rooms look out toward it, which is especially lovely at night. The location also makes everyday errands easy. The hotel is a short walk from the train station, with ArcaKit Kinshicho next door for Uniqlo, Daiso, 3COINS, and plenty of places to eat. Across the street there are several convenience stores, including 7-Eleven, Lawson, and FamilyMart, with Don Quijote nearby too. Getting around Tokyo was simple, and there's plenty to do close by.

The staff really went out of their way to welcome us after we raised a few room issues, and the problems were sorted out right away. The location is handy too, with shops and restaurants all around, the station about a five-minute walk away for trains to other major cities, and Skytree within walking distance. We also appreciated the limousine bus shuttle to and from the airport and the coin-operated laundromat about four minutes away. Would I recommend the hotel? Of course!

Rooms were comfortable, clean, and had the essentials, including free Wi-Fi, a fridge, and a flat-screen TV. Some rooms look toward Tokyo Skytree, which was a favorite of ours at night. The breakfast buffet had fresh, tasty Japanese and Western choices, and the hotel also has several restaurants and a sky-view bar for meals or drinks with a city backdrop. A short walk takes you to JR and Tokyo Metro Kinshicho Station, so sightseeing around Tokyo is easy, including Skytree and areas like Shibuya, Shinjuku, and Asakusa. It's also convenient for shopping or a Disneyland visit. Staff were welcoming and helpful, though service can feel a little uneven on rare occasions. For a 4-star Tokyo stay, we found the transport, dining, views, and comfortable rooms good value. ❤️🔥
