Good value for the price, especially with a busy metro nearby. Towels and soap are provided, and there’s air conditioning and heating. The stairs are pretty steep.

The neighborhood is quiet and nice for walks, with everything nearby. The Airbnb management was clear and handled things well. The rooms are compact, but clean and equipped with what you need. We were on the fifth floor, and the lack of an elevator was a hassle. There was one for luggage only. Still, I liked the place and would definitely stay again.

The owner was very kind and worked around our travel schedule, and laundry was affordable. For our sightseeing trip with our child, the place was good value compared with hotels and ryokans we’ve stayed at before. We visited in December, and although there’s no floor heating, the heaters kept us comfortable. I sleep with the shower booth open, so the air didn’t feel too dry. My one room-rating deduction was because there was no bathtub. The photos didn’t show one, but I’d assumed a Japanese accommodation would have a tub. Even with that disappointment, the positives outweigh the negatives, and I’d like to stay again on my next Tokyo trip.
