For what we paid, this was a good one-night stay at the Grand Central Hotel. The bed was firm, which I like, and there was a choice of pillows at reception. We slept well, and the room, bedding, and towels were clean. The building does feel dated and could use some updates. Check-in and checkout were self-service, which was convenient, and the staff were friendly. The underground stations are about a 5-10 minute walk away. We didn't eat at the hotel, but there was free coffee and water in the foyer. Reception also had a fantastic range of complimentary toiletries to take up, including cleansers, moisturisers, face masks, shaving gel, and razors, on top of what was already in the bathroom.

It's an old-fashioned place, but cozy and quiet. Tokyo station is only one stop away, and Kanda station is easy to reach for JR and subway connections to other attractions. You can choose amenities and pillows at reception. There's a hair dryer, slippers, and bathrobe, plus vending machines, washing machines, and clothes dryers.

The staff were friendly, and the location was handy, near akihabara and the train station. They also had a few useful amenities like a hairbrush and toothpaste. But that's about it for me. The room was small, the beds were really uncomfortable, and the tiny bathroom was, well, tiny. The pillows made my neck hurt, I woke up sore every day, and I couldn't get proper rest. I could hear other guests talking through the thin walls. They offer massage from 8pm to 2am, but I didn't get to try it. Fine if location is all you care about, but I didn't sleep well.

Friendly staff, and a handy spot in the business district near Kanda Station. Our room was tiny, though I guess that's normal in Tokyo.

The staff were polite and helpful throughout, and the check-in kiosk was easy to use. My single room had everything I needed, and I got a breakfast voucher for each day. It's a quiet area, about a six-minute walk to Kanda station, with plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Rooms are cleaned daily unless you put the magnet outside your door. The laundry room is down the stairs on the second floor, and you can buy detergent at the front desk. I'd definitely book here again.
