With different themed displays, this is an interesting gallery to visit. Its location inside a busy station creates a striking contrast.

I’m glad they kept the entrance and exit. They look nice against the modern parts of the building.

The upper floors of the dome hold the event space, with exposed brick and the train station’s history among the highlights. There are lots of dioramas and a souvenir shop, and admission is affordable. It’s an amazing gallery and museum space with regular temporary exhibitions, well worth a visit.

We were blown away by the masterful works of Finnish artist and industrial designer Tapio Wikkala, and came away with a truly memorable experience. The art museum is just above the main transportation hub, another reminder of how civilised Japan is. It’s world class.

The interior has a lovely atmosphere, beautifully maintained with touches left from the old station building. The museum is handy to reach, right by the Marunouchi North Exit ticket gate of JR Tokyo Station. It was crowded even on a weekday because the Yuzo Saeki exhibition was on.
