Housekeeping was also below a basic standard, with no regular room cleaning. I couldn’t get proper rest because noise carried constantly through the thin walls, from nearby rooms and people in the hallway. I asked to switch rooms, but the noise problem continued, and I kept waking early even with earplugs. The mattress was far too soft and had no support, leaving me with significant back pain every day. The stay was disappointing enough for a 2/5 rating, mainly because of these serious comfort and service problems.

Good value, and the hotel provides unlimited hot and cold water, along with tea and coffee. Special thanks to staff member Dawa for the great support and service. I strongly recommend staying here when you visit ikekuburo.

For Tokyo prices, this is great value for money. The rooms are modern and very clean, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. It’s a very good hotel near Ikebukuro. Highly recommended!

I only stayed one night. The room was small but clean, and the price seemed reasonable compared with the hotel’s standard and other nearby places. One catch is that they can’t help arrange luggage shipping, unlike most hotels in Japan. They direct you to a convenience store to do it yourself, which could be inconvenient if you’re visiting several destinations and want to travel hands-free.
