UNIZO INN Tokyo Hatchobori

I really appreciated how quiet and peaceful the neighborhood was. We stayed at ICI Hotel for two nights, and the front desk staff were kind, friendly, and helpful. The hotel was spotless, and both check-in and check-out went smoothly. The room was on the small side, which is typical for Tokyo. I'd definitely stay here again on my next trip to Japan. Highly recommend!

The staff at the 24-hour front desk were polite and enthusiastic, and answered questions carefully and patiently. There's a Lawson about a minute away, and JR Keiye Line Station is close too. Exit B2 has an elevator, which is handy if you're traveling with suitcases. The room is comfortable if you pay more for the twin beds option. It's a square layout, with storage under the bed for suitcases or duty-free shopping, leaving more room to walk around. Some travelers say rooms are too small, but we could easily open four suitcases on the floor. It was great to have a bathtub in Tokyo, and a bath felt relaxing after a day out. The bed and pillows were comfortable, the TV had Japanese programs, and the small fridge was very cold. The hotel doesn't provide water, but you can buy a bottle at the counter for just 50 yen. On the first floor, the two laundry machines wash and dry together, with detergent included, for 500 yen. The cycle takes two hours, which is very affordable. I highly recommend it.

Rooms are small, but they have everything you need, and it's great value. The hotel is right by the train station, with a Lawson within 40m, and it's easy to find on maps. Getting to Disney is easy too. The Fish market is a short walk away, past a really nice Buddhist temple, and it's a great place for all sorts of food. For the best value, we liked little shop Satos for food.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location is very good, especially for Disneyland. But if you have luggage larger than a cabin bag, DO NOT book the compact twin room. We could barely open one suitcase because of the room's size and layout. I've stayed in rooms about the same size where opening bags was no problem. Here, the mini fridge sits right in the middle of the walkway, which makes it harder.
