Hotel Hisago - Vacation STAY 12228v

The room had an old smell, and the hotel itself is about 40 years old. It was empty from 2011-2016. I'm easily scared, so if you are too, you might want to pick somewhere else for peace of mind.

Breakfast is included, except on Saturdays. The room was pretty average, though I wish there were more outlets by the bed. Apparently some rooms have them, lol. The bathroom is a combined toilet and unit bath. The parking right in front is small, so I'd use one of the other lots. I think there are about three, and they're gravel but spacious. Free washers and dryers are available. The hotel is easy to find, and it has the feel of an older business hotel.

The free laundry is a real plus: four washers and dryers, with detergent included. My room was clean, spacious, and well maintained. The renovation seems to have gone well, even though this older hotel doesn't match the newest business hotels. Rates are cheaper, and I wouldn't mind coming back, but it may not suit people who prefer modern places. There's a restaurant, but it closes on weekends, and you only find that out when you arrive. York Benimaru is nearby and open 10:30am - 7:00pm, so that wasn't a problem. Given the location, I wonder if it used to house decontamination workers.

I slept really well. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed suited me perfectly. There were plenty of amenities, which left me very satisfied. The toilet didn't have a washlet, and the walls seemed a little thin.
