International Resort Hotel Yurakujo

International Resort Hotel Yurakujo has a range of facilities, including an onsen for relaxing after a long journey. The rooms are comfortable and well maintained. For people staying near the airport, the shuttle bus makes transfers convenient and stress free.

Tokyo Yurakujo is behind the hotel, where you can enjoy an onsen, traditional Japanese cuisine and amenities. Narita Airport is about 15 minutes away, while Tokyo takes 30-1hr depending on traffic. If you’re on a budget, I’d take the bus and train to Tokyo instead of a taxi. We stayed two days and had an amazing, fun time. Japan felt stress free to me, with reserved, polite people, and everything was clean and fresh. The comfort rooms were well maintained, and the breakfast buffet was tasty and healthy.

The hotel is a bit older and shows its age, but our room was spacious, with that older luxury hotel feel that’s hard to find. We had a relaxing night at the large onsen before our flight, then walked down to the lobby just five minutes before departure and caught the shuttle. It was pouring rain, and we stayed completely dry. We chose International Resort Hotel Yurakujo for convenience, despite the mixed reviews, and were glad we did. We’d stayed near the airport on a previous trip after arriving late, and this time we were worried about getting from Tokyo to Narita early in the morning. A bus from Tokyo Station stops right in front of the hotel, and there’s a free shuttle to Narita International Airport. Tokyo Station is busy and complicated, so getting here made the morning much easier, especially with our luggage. I was very happy with the value, the space and the onsen. If I have an early or complicated Narita schedule again, I’d come back for a relaxing night.

The friendly, polite staff were always ready to help, and the peaceful bath facilities felt well managed. Yurakujo’s hot spring was a highlight and a lovely way to unwind. The rooms are spacious, clean and well kept, so I got a good night’s rest after a long journey. With reasonable prices, useful amenities and easy access to Narita Airport, International Resort Hotel Yurakujo is good value for a short visit or a leisure stay.
