Karin Doo Hotel

The room was incredibly clean and had a television. The hotel also has lots of useful things, including a toaster, microwave, umbrellas for summer rain and bath supplies. There’s a 7E around the corner, so it was easy to put together breakfast. We didn’t realize the manager, Shun, had greeted us at first. He was incredibly kind and impressed by our somewhat meager Japanese. When we needed a taxi so we wouldn’t be late for our next stop, a staff member called one and helped us get our luggage ready. It was a lovely, too-short stay and a great start to our trip in Japan. 5 stars.

Karin Doo Hotel Narita is a good base for touring by train between the surrounding areas and Tokyo, while still being near the airport. The location is also close to the train station, bus station and taxis, and the staff were very helpful. There are 24/7 stores, 711 and Lawson, nearby. The price is very affordable, and the service was lovely. They provide lots of free amenities: soap, shampoo, toothpaste, a comb, black and green tea, a kettle, Wi-Fi, a refrigerator, a hair dryer, extra pillows, phone chargers and an adaptor. I look forward to staying again on our next trip. 😍

The owner is friendly and helpful, and the hotel is small and nice, with spacious rooms compared with other hotels. It’s near a laundry, and a taxi ride to Narita station takes five minutes. That station is one stop from Narita airport. The doors are locked at 22:00 to prevent theft, so you can’t go out at night unless you tell the owner in advance.

Trying tatami here was a really nice experience. It’s quiet, the staff are very friendly, and Aeon Town is only a five minute walk away.
