The owner was so sweet, friendly, and helpful, and speaks fluent English, which made everything easy. There were no taxis or buses in the area, so she went out of her way to pick us up from Toya Station. The place was peaceful and well maintained, and the room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and great value. It would suit solo travelers or couples wanting a quiet, comfortable stay. I had a wonderful time and would absolutely stay again. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

The staff speak English well and were really helpful with walking and trekking tips around the area. I had some nice chats in the evening too, which you don't usually get in Japan. I slept in a clean four-bed dormitory room. It's a guest house right in the center of town.

The host was lovely and shared some local tips. The hostel had a style I really liked, and it was very clean. For the first time in ages, I actually slept really well in a hostel. The linen bed sheets made me feel like a princess.

Room B, bed nr. 1. Such a lovely hostel, and I really enjoyed staying here. The mattress was comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. There’s a common area with a kitchen, modern showers, and very cheap, good laundry. You can rent a bike for 500. The rooftop could make a nice shared space too. I’d recommend this place with real confidence.
