The staff were friendly and accommodating throughout. After checkout, I realized I’d left something in the room, and the woman who checked me out recognized me and let me go back to retrieve it. My laundry came back neatly folded and sealed in plastic, though the bags were small, seemingly only enough for a day or two of clothes. For my four days’ worth, I had to make two separate requests. The rooms were spacious, the bed was very comfortable, and the rain shower had the best pressure I’ve experienced in Japan. The blackout curtains kept the room dark even in daylight. The pillows were standard Japanese business-hotel style and got a bit thin after a while. The onsen was a nice feature, though small for a hotel this size. I usually went soon after it reopened at 3 pm and saw at most two other people in the men’s bath. The hotel is right across from Toyama Station. Cocktails at the bar are pricey, as you’d expect, but the burger was delicious and worth it. In my opinion, the DoubleTree cookie and Hilton blue Hawaii are overrated. There are only two elevators, so expect a possible wait around busy times like breakfast or check-in.

It was easy to get around from here, with the station a short walk away and lots of central Toyama nearby. The hotel is new and well kept, and everything felt clean, modern, and straightforward. Our rooms were comfortable with good amenities, and the staff were friendly and gave good service throughout. I’d happily stay here again when I’m back in Toyama.

The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the onsen was clean and relaxing after a long day. The water tasted very good, which was a nice touch, especially since Toyama is known for its fresh, high-quality water. Getting around was easy: Toyama Station is a three-minute walk away, and there’s a shopping mall about two minutes away for meals or quick shopping. A comfortable stay with great access to things nearby.

The reception team were friendly, professional, and helpful the whole time. Opening the room door through the members app was a fun modern touch, and the usual welcome cookies were lovely. Breakfast also included a special dessert that made the stay feel extra special. I had a very enjoyable stay.

The warm, tasty cookie they gave us after check-in was a nice touch, and the price was reasonable. It’s only a few minutes’ walk from Toyama Station. The staff were welcoming, and our room was spacious, clean, and tidy. I had a great stay and this is my go-to hotel in Toyama.
