There was a lovely bath area with indoor and outdoor baths plus a sauna. They also had free ice lollies and half ramen. The hotel was clean and comfortable, the room was a good size with everything I needed, and it's close to Toyohashi station and opposite a tram stop.

I had a great stay. If you're here, the onsen is worth trying.

A nice hotel with a hot spring.

I've stayed at Dormy Inns around Japan about 40 or 50 times on business trips, and this one had the best hot spring quality by far. I spent three nights and four days here and bathed six times. The sauna was great, and the water felt incredibly smooth. As someone who loves hot springs, I was very satisfied. I usually expect business hotels like Dormy Inns, Route Inns, and Super Hotels to recycle their hot spring water, so I prepare myself when I stay with them. This place blew me away. When I asked the staff how often they bring in hot spring water, they said it's been every day lately. That explains how they maintain the quality. The bathing etiquette, though, is the same problem at these business hotels wherever you go. People get into the bath without washing or pouring water over themselves, enter the sauna without drying off, and go from the sauna to the cold bath without rinsing. Some even head back to the changing room without drying themselves. At a good hot spring, you should wash your whole body thoroughly before getting in. At a truly good one, the slipperiness feels completely different depending on whether you've washed first. I hope hot spring facilities around the country speak up about this. I'm sure it could bring in more good customers and regulars. This is a Dormy Inn I'd like to visit again. Thank you very much.
