Toyotetsu Terminal Hotel

The club room was a great place to sit with a drink and get some laptop work done, and drinks there were free. The view from my room was lovely, as was the one from the 16th-floor lobby and breakfast area. For what I paid, the hotel looked beautiful, with careful attention to detail throughout. The gym disappointed a bit, though, since it only had treadmills and dumbbells. Service was very nice. The staff held my luggage while I was working and answered general questions about the area. The coffee was the one real criticism: both at breakfast and in the club room, it just wasn’t good. In a place that looks this nice, I’d have expected a proper coffee machine with hand-foamed milk, so that let me down.

The rooms felt very spacious compared with other hotels in Toyohashi, and breakfast was one of the best I’ve had. I had a very pleasant stay, with the hotel very close to Toyohashi station.

I really recommend Hotel Arc Riche. It’s affordable and well located, and the reception staff were professional and gave us amazing service. My partner hurt his foot and couldn’t walk, so I went to the concierge. They calmly found the only hospital open that day, a Japanese Holiday, arranged an appointment, and organized a taxi to take us there and bring us back. After we returned, they helped with our bags and a wheelchair so my partner could get back to the Shinkansen. We made our train in time. They went far beyond what I’d expect from standard customer service, and I urge travelers to choose Hotel Arc Riche.

The city views from the windows at breakfast were great, and the service there was top notch. Breakfast is a must. The hotel is elegant and close to Toyohashi station. My room wasn’t large, but it was roomy enough for one person. There’s also a lounge bar where all guests can get free drinks from 8 to 9 pm. The city views are the best!
