A convenient stop when driving between the Kansai and Kanto areas. The onsen is nice, breakfast is included, and the rooms are larger than average for Japan. Everything was clean and convenient, and the staff are patient with people who don't speak Japanese.

Being close to the interchange was the main reason I chose this hotel. I'd previously stayed at Hotel Route Inn in Hanyu, Saitama, and Ashikaga, Tochigi, but not this one. It has an artificial hot spring as well as a large public bath, open until 2 a.m. and again from 5 a.m., so the hours are generous. Compared with Dormy Inn, the bath isn't open all night, and the breakfast is a little disappointing.

I booked through the official website for a work trip and got a free welcome drink. Each time I visited, I could have as much free Dotour coffee as I wanted. The app is convenient and has good coupon deals. I arrived before 5 PM and found plenty of parking, but by 7:30 PM the lot was full. The rooms are a bit dated, perhaps because of the building's age, and the unit bathrooms are old, but the room itself was clean. The large public bath is a plus. Breakfast is available until 2 AM, as the photo shows, but when I got there at 8:30 AM the full menu was still available. A reliable Route Inn.
