As a foreigner traveling alone in Japan, I found this place so kind and welcoming. It was one of the highlights of my trip. The owners and I each knew only a little of the other’s native language, but Google Translate helped us get along. I can’t recommend it enough, and I’ll definitely be back.

I slept soundly in the quiet that night after a relaxing bath and some time in my room before dinner. I’d arrived by motorcycle in the rain, and the landlady was thoughtful from the moment I got there. Dinner was sukiyaki, more than one person could finish, and delicious enough that I felt bad leaving any. Breakfast the next morning was also good. Thank you for the food and for your hospitality.

The shabu-shabu meat and vegetables were superb, and the rice was so good we finished every last bit in the cooker. There was plenty of food, and we got so caught up in eating our late-night shabu-shabu that we forgot to take pictures. The proprietress was lovely, the service was great, and our room was clean, beautiful, and spacious, so we could really relax. We went to the hot springs at a nearby roadside station and didn’t run into anything inconvenient or unpleasant. We’ll definitely come back in winter for crab, with the whole family! 😊

My shy daughter adored the landlady, who was incredibly kind and attentive. We appreciated her thoughtful service, and everything we ate was delicious. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bath was spacious and relaxing. I came this time to accompany my sons at their training camp, but I’d definitely like to return with my family on a private trip. Thank you very much.

The landlady was very nice, and when I decided to order dinner after arriving, they kindly accommodated me. Their homemade Koshihikari rice was delicious. It was a simple, no-frills stay with air conditioning and Wi-Fi, and they parked my motorcycle somewhere it wouldn’t get rained on. The bathroom and toilet were shared, but it’s not fair to compare a place like this with a big chain hotel. I stopped here on the second night of a week-long solo motorcycle trip to Kyushu and back, a 3200km ride to celebrate retirement. It’s about an hour from the Tottori Sand Dunes. If I have the energy next time, I’d like to come back for the crab.
