Breakfast was fine, with the basics covered, and the staff were nice. The bathroom was cleaner than I expected and had a few toiletries, which was handy. But the room was very cramped for two, and the wallpaper beside the bed was so dirty that I avoided lying near it and slept on the far side. It really needs replacing. I also wasn't told about the happy hour mentioned in the comments.

There are plenty of good places to eat nearby, plus a convenience store right next door. Matsusaka Station is under a five-minute walk away. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the front desk staff were polite and helpful. They also had a complimentary pour-your-own welcome drink from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. I had everything I needed.

For a hotel in a smaller city, I didn't expect the room to be tighter than the ones in Tokyo Shinjuku. There was barely any room for two people, and I couldn't even find a spot to open my luggage.

The manga library in the lobby is a nice touch for anyone who likes comics, and there are vending machines and coin laundry too. Matsusaka station is very close, just a short walk away. My twin room was tiny but clean, so I had to open my luggage on the bed 😁. The staff were friendly and kind. Fine for a short stay.

Breakfast and happy hour were included, which made this a very decent deal. The hotel is within walking distance of Matsusaka station, and Aeon MaxValu supermarket is about a 15-minute walk. It's an older place, but well looked after. The room wasn't as roomy as I expected, though it works for two guests with light luggage.
