I stayed for two nights. The hotel looks old from the outside, and at night you can hear the person next door talking, which might bother some people. There was no mirror in the room apart from the bathroom one, which could be inconvenient for women. The room itself was okay, with a comfortable bed. The bathroom has just been renovated, so it looked modern, clean, and comfortable. The internet was fast and stable, and Tsukuba Center is about a 20-minute walk away. Staff were hospitable, and the price seemed reasonable, neither too expensive nor too cheap. Free Japanese-style breakfast was included, pajamas were available, and they gave us a free ice cream ticket to redeem.

It was cheap, so we weren't unhappy, but the room was tiny and a bit dated. The beds seemed made for someone around 5'4". The main headache was that the online price was lower than what they wanted us to pay at the front desk, and it was difficult to explain the issue to the staff.

There are plenty of restaurants nearby, but the hotel itself isn't attractive. It was 6,000 yen with breakfast included, and the food wasn't tasty.
