Such a cute, beautiful log cottage. The owner was so down to earth and made us feel very welcome. He gave us pumpkin 🎃, cucumbers 🥒, and blueberries 🫐. We'd love to visit again 🙏😍

A lovely little cottage, a nice break from busy city life out in the countryside. The owners were kind and thoughtful, and they have instructions in English if you don't speak Japanese.
We had a bonfire beneath a sky full of stars. The staff were so friendly, and I'd like to bring my family next time.
We came as a group of 16 and stayed in a group room for two nights. It was a three-generation family trip with my parents and toddlers. The owner's family were so friendly that our children quickly got attached and wanted to hold them. It was our first trip together as a family, and the homey feel, open playground, somen noodle soup, drum bath, fresh vegetables, and starry sky gave us a really rich time in nature. Both the adults and kids were happy, and we've already been saying we'd like to make it an annual trip. Thank you so much. Even in midsummer it stayed cool without air conditioning, and the covered terrace meant we could barbecue despite somewhat unpredictable weather. In the evening we got to pick vegetables and were treated to them fresh from the garden. The corn was juicy and sweet like fruit, and the kids loved picking and eating blueberries. The adults made delicious mojitos with fresh mint we brought ourselves, lol. The owner's daughter does a stargazing talk every night. It was cloudy, unfortunately, but the stars showing through the gaps were beautiful and the kids were fascinated by the constellations.
The cottage was clean, and despite the pandemic and terrible weather, the kids had a great time doing things they don't usually get to do. They slept in the second-floor loft, tried the hammock and smoking food, and took a morning walk in the field behind the cottage. We stayed two nights in heavy rain, but the covered plastic curtain let us barbecue without trouble. When the rain let up on the first day, we also got to use the drum-can bath and pick vegetables in the field. It was a very satisfying stay.
