Inn-sect - Hostel

The seasonal fruit waffles are the main draw here. I had one with the premium Ashimori melon, and it was delicious 😋🍈. It came with fluffy mochi and ice cream, so it looked great and was filling too. Hare no Waffle also serves drinks and has a guesthouse attached. It's a little tucked away, but there's parking diagonally across the street.

The bedrooms are surprisingly spacious, whether you choose a bunk or a semi-private room, and the wood gives the place a warm feel unlike a capsule hotel. It's a simple inn focused on giving you a clean, comfortable place to sleep. There isn't a front desk, but there are showers, toilets, sinks, a small workspace, and a spot for light cooking downstairs. Bars and restaurants nearby make it easy to find somewhere for a drink. This place feels like a hidden gem and deserves to be better known.

I stayed one night in a semi-private room and would come back. The mattress was comfortable, there were good-sized lockers, and the renovated sleeping area upstairs looked lovely. I arrived at night and felt a little uneasy on the old-fashioned stairs, but the contrast with the fresh, renovated room was striking. There were no other guests, so I could relax at my own pace. I had to put the bedding on myself. The shower area was small, and I bumped my head twice on the beam in the middle of the room, lol. One small thing: since the place is unattended, it would have helped to have the Wi-Fi password in the room information. You might find it in the workspace, lol. Thanks :-)

It's right in the city center, with lots of restaurants nearby. The shower room is small, but shampoo and other toiletries are there, along with one face towel. The rooms are on the second floor, split into A and B. A has four rooms with open ceilings and mattress beds, plus six bunk rooms. The bunks are set apart enough that other guests' snoring or infection shouldn't bother you much. I had section A to myself, which was a bit lonely. There's also a shared C room and a spacious community room where you can eat and drink, though there's no TV. That's why I took off a star. Check-in is self-service with a designated lock, and check-out just means leaving the key card in its case. The first floor is a cafe open until 6 PM, and the third floor is an office, though nobody was there. You make the beds yourself, including the sheets for the mattress, duvet, and pillow. Putting the duvet cover on can be a hassle if you're not used to it, especially in the small space.
