Tsuyama Kakuzan Hotel

It's a mid-range hotel in Tsuyama city, and the price isn't too high.

It's a great place to live.

I skipped both breakfast and dinner since they looked pricey. Still, the room itself was clean and roomy, with a large, bright unit bath, and the view over the national highway and Yoshii River was lovely. The underground parking was spacious, and the elevator went right up to the room. I’d steered clear of this hotel for a while because of the cost, but booking through a certain website brought the price down. The soundproofing was good too. The air conditioning was a bit weak, so it felt cold for a while. A nearby hotel had cost the same the day before, but this one was much better quality, and I was very satisfied with the value.

The two-meal plan turned out to be a real bargain, and my stay was much better than I expected. Dinner included Sozuri Nabe and the Tsuyama Gozen, and for breakfast I had a special Japanese meal with TKG, yellow chives, soy sauce, and a second serving of rice. The rice went especially well with everything. It seems the hotel was renovated last year, and the bathroom in my room was very clean. If I get the chance, I’d definitely stay here again. 😁
