We got a package with two days of golf for 30,000 yen. The place is older, but still nice for what it costs. The hospitality was great, and there was a slide plus lots of recreational things to do.

We’ve only been to the pool, sliders, and nearby cafe a couple of times. The pool and slides are open July 14th to September 2nd. There are so many people that the 25 metre pool is too crowded for swimming, so this is really for families and kids. The slides are fun, but the queues can leave you standing in the baking sun for ages. Rash guards, or swimming shirts, are allowed and a good idea. We like the similar place in Kudamatsu better, Kudamatsu Health Park. It has a wave machine and a lazy circular pool as well as slides that are less crowded, though it's over an hour's drive from Ube City. Other reviewers say service at Cocoland hotel can be a bit brusque. By Japanese standards, that probably makes it divine! I hope to try Cocoland's hot spa when I stay at the nearby free Tokiwakohankita Camping Ground. It's less than 1km away as the crow flies, but around 1.5km on foot.
