Kakeyu Fujikan

The onsen water was good, but getting to the outdoor bath from the indoor one meant walking along a rather inconveniently long corridor. The guest room was musty enough that my companion wanted to leave as soon as we arrived, and the hotel needs to work on room cleanliness. The food was fair, a standard Japanese ryokan buffet. Service was poor. When we tried to reserve the private onsen bath in Sakura kan, the evening and morning front desk staff gave us completely different information. They should be trained to give guests a consistent answer.
