The complimentary snack was delicious, 340g of pasta per person. We were driving to a ski resort and stopped here for a midday rest. The rooms were warm and had a microwave, fridge/freezer and massage chair. For a place so close to the city center, it also had spacious parking lots.
The bus from Utsunomiya Station goes straight to the hotel entrance, so getting there was easy even though it's a little away from the city center. We had a fun stay in the converted shipping container hotel, and the woman who checked us in was so kind. They fit a surprising amount into one container. It was a tight squeeze, but that felt like part of the experience.
Really good experience. The room was clean and tidy, parking was free, and the staff were helpful.
Quiet inside the room, cheap, and free parking. It's a 10-minute walk from the station.
