For a short stay of a night or two, this place is okay. The breakfast spread is very limited, so a convenience store across the street or a nearby coffee shop may be a better choice. I also found the bed and pillow uncomfortable. The bed felt more like a thin mat.

The hotel is in a great spot, just a five-minute walk from JR Utsonomia station. Toyoko is a big chain with hotels all over Japan, and I felt the Utsonomia location kept up its usual service quality.
